My Diary - week 7

Monday 29 Sep

I was very sick during the night with a tummy upset.
Mum looked after me very well, and I remembered to breathe...
This week will be quite hard, tomorrow Daddy goes back to work, and I will be 7 weeks old !
I'm concentrating on staying well so that we can go to Milton Keynes at the weekend.
My Aunts, Uncles, & Nephew Aakash are all really looking forward to seeing me.
At lunchtime, Paul, the chaplain at the hospital who arranged my Christening, came.
It was lovely to see him again, we had a cuddle and a photo together !

In the afternoon I went for a nice drive to Slough & Stoke Poges with my Dad.
I sat in the front seat, didn't cry once, and we had a good time.
After we got home, we had a surprise visit from Uncle Richard who was on his way to Exeter.
He said I'd
grown lots since the last time he'd seen me.
I'm due for my next weigh-in session soon, hopefully I'm still putting on the pounds !

Tuesday 30 Sep

Daddy gave me extra cuddles this morning before he went to work. He told me he'd be missing me lots, and that I should be a good boy for my Mum. I tried really hard, but I forgot to breathe just for a while in the afternoon. Mum was very scared until I remembered what to do...! The nice lady, Rachel, from SOFT, phoned my mum and she was really pleased. Then Christine & her daughter Lucy came to see me with some lovely roses. In the evening my mum was getting tired, and Andy & Djamila called round with a delicious Indian takeaway. It was very nice of them to look after us both, and they stayed until Dad & Uncle Dave got back from work at midnight. I'm so lucky to have such good friends...thank you all !

I've just remembered - I'm 7 weeks old now ! But I can't tell you my weight yet - we haven't seen Lucy with her scales for a while...
