Tuesday 7th October
The day started with another photo-shoot, as I had my new tube replaced. Mum had been up all night trying in vain to get the milk down me. Brigid came round to sort me out, and Annie & Emily turned up with Bagels for Dad. Today I am 8 whole weeks old, and I think that's surprised quite a few people !...Mum reckons that there are no spaces available Up There for the moment, so I'm on the Standby List. A bit like when they travel to these exotic places I suppose...
Had a good time with Dad in the morning. He taught me how to wink at the girls. We agreed that I've definitely got more hair than him now. It could be because he's still trying to magic me up a Visitors' Book for this site....
Wednesday 8th October
Dad took the day off today as I had
an important appointment at the Hospital. We saw the clever lady doctor who had
been there the day I was born. She said that of all the babies she had met with
my condition, I was the one who had lived the longest...! She said that we
should try to have fun and do as many things as we could together, and I liked
the sound of that ! So afterwards, as a special treat, Mum & Dad took me to
the pub for lunch. Dad showed me the website and all the visitors we've been
having from different countries. Even a mystery person from Lithuania...
Dr Norman came round to see me in the evening with his new wife Anne-Marie. She
did an extremely good job of cuddling me while we looked at the pictures of
their wedding...
