My First October

Hi there ! Sorry for the delay giving you the latest news...
Dad's been busy trying to remember what to do at work, he gets home around midnight,
and then he has to do all the chores I've been saving up for him all day !  I'm sitting on his lap now, nagging him to help me keep you all updated. My next feed's due at 6 am, so here goes...!

Today a new nurse, Brigid, came to meet me. She's a very nice lady and has now taken over from Lucy.
Mum & Dad have been getting worried because I'm forgetting to breathe more often.
Brigid came round again a few times during the day to see how we were doing. I think we'll get on very well.
Just as Dad was going to work, my friends Conor & Emily arrived with their mum Annie.
We all spent the afternoon together and Annie spoilt us both. She helped my mum lots and let her rest a bit. She also put some strange plaster stuff from Paris on my foot. It's not broken or anything, they just want to keep a record of how small & cute my feet are !

Thursday 2nd October

Dad was up for ages after his late shift last night, helping me keep this diary. He told me that I have friends all over the world who've been reading about me, as well as saying prayers to different people. I thought it would be good if we could have a visitor's book for everyone to sign, so he was busy scratching his head about that...

Today was a bit quieter, we didn't have any visitors until Grandad arrived at about tea-time. The postman brought a very nice card all the way from Belgium. Alex and Jojo have been keeping an eye on me from different countries thanks to this useful toy Dad calls the internet. Merci, mesdames, et bisous !

Dad's got 4 days off now, so I'm busy planning plenty of things to keep him busy. See you soon !
