Hi Sean. It's been 4 years already since you went, but you know that we both think of you and love you very much. Thank you so much for sending us little Sophie. She's keeping us very busy and is so clever, just like you, and we're so very happy to have her, but we'll never forget you. I'm sure you know that, and that you'll be keeping an eye on us all. We're thinking about you today, darling, wishing you every happiness and sending you all our love. We hope that Mummy's Grandma from Tanzania, Baa, has found you now and is giving you lots of love and cuddles. Please give her our love too. Here's a photo of your sister Sophie; she has your sweet smile and is very strong, just like you.

Take care darling, lots of love Mummy & Daddy xxxxxxx

Hello little man, it's your Daddy, over here in far-flung Cambodia. I hope you get this message, it should arrive around about the same time that you did, 2 whole years ago! Just to let you know that you've been thoroughly spoilt again today, lots of people have been thinking about you, here and at home. We visited about 15 different temples in a place called Oudong today and lit candles & incense for you in each. You would not believe how hot I was ! And yes, there were even 2 red roses left for you in every temple. The family over here all send you their love, and they've been looking after your Daddy very well.

Anyway I had better go, matey, it's after midnight here and well past my bed-time.  ( Not that that is a concept you ever really understood !! )

All my love, Tim xxx

My heart goes out to you, what wonderful parents you are. Sean's story has really touched me. I shall always remember him. I am sure he is one of the loveliest angels in heaven. My daughter Grace Aine was stillborn at 22weeks due to Patau's Syndrome on June 30th 2004. Like you I had never heard of the condition until then. My heart goes out to you. As I know only too well of the agony of losing a loved and cherished baby. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I have made a small tribute page for Grace, please feel free to visit if you wish, I'd love it. I have listed the link below as its quite long. Take Care Love Catherine, Gloucester, UK. I've never been touched this deeply before, in the short time I spent today reading through the diary, I came to love Sean, like a brother, and was really amazed by the amount of courage he had. I was equally made sad, when I read the last diary input. Sean, you were a gift, and you still are a gift to your Mum and Dad, and everybody else who's been connected to you, one way or the other, like me. A gift that will never get lost, nor be taken away. A gift imprinted in our hearts. Mum, Dad, thanks for sharing this gift with everyone, I know you're very wonderful parents, and I'm pretty sure Sean's watching you, remembering all the cuddles, hugs and love you and your friends showered on him. Take care of yourselves. Happy New Year too! Femi Taiwo, Lagos, Nigeria

Dear Arti and Tim " No one ever told me that grief felt so like fear. I am not afraid, but the sensation is like being afraid. The same fluttering in the stomach, the same restlessness, the yawning. I keep on swallowing. At other times it feels like being mildly drunk, or concussed. There is a sort of invisible blanket between the world and me. I find it hard to take in what anyone says or perhaps, hard to want to take it in. It is so uninteresting. Yet I want the others to be about me. I dread the moments when the house is empty. If only they would talk to one another and not to me." - CS Lewis 'A Grief Observed' We said a prayer for you and asked God to comfort and hold you both in His arms at this very difficult time. Hi Sean Well done - week 14!! What a brave boy you are and your mummy and daddy and all their friends obviously love you soooo much. Hope you are looking forward to the rugby match on Saturday - I know I am - I suppose that fridge is stocked full - are you partaking of a little Guinness in your Cow and Gate in celebration?? You know you have to be careful of your Dad and those scissors - he is remembering the days when he had long locks like yours. In fact I was looking at a video the other day where his locks rivalled yours! I wish you could have been here in Portland, Oregon on Wednesday - we had a snowstorm which left us with 2 to 3 ins of snow - it looked so picture perfect. Maybe I will send Uncle Dave a pic so you can see the snow on the trees. I hope you have some snow to go with your tree and decorations. lots of love - and keep up the good work - don't scare your mum too much. Lesley

Hi Sean ! It was great fun watching the fireworks the other night. Didn’t we have fun? I have just been watching the rugby. It was a tough game - Wales played well, but just could not overpower the English team. The next match will be England vs France - that will be a good one. Tell your Daddy to get enough Guinness in for the 3 of us, as you know how much beer we get through when a big game is on. I like the picture of you that your Daddy took last night, it's great. I will try to see you later at Guildford. You take care little one, and look after Mummy. Lots of love from Uncle Dave. Your mates Stuart and David say hii and hope to see you soon. P.S. Bonjour Sean . Was good to see you this afternoon. I am a bit jealous that you got a lot more hair than me...and sorry that I started to cry...it was just that my mum and dad had only eyes for you and that was the best way to get some attention and food too! My dad checks your web site every morning before he goes to work and he tells me all about it. He was supposed to do a web site for me too, but I think he cannot match yours...so I am still waiting. When are we going to the pub together? Ask your dad will you? Your little friend, Louis.
