Friday 21st November
During last night my breathing suddenly got a lot more difficult. Mum, Dad & Uncle Dave held me close and helped me keep on fighting, as the attacks kept coming more frequently. We were joined by Grandad, Brigid, Alison & Susan, and with their support, I soldiered on for most of the day. Paul, the Chaplain, came to visit too, and said some special prayers for me. Mum & Dad held me for the whole time, and I rewarded them with a lovely smile at one point.

As you can see, I
was quite alert and did a lot of gazing into Mum & Dad's eyes. They told me
I'd been such a very brave boy but that as they loved me so much, they didn't
want me to suffer any more. Eventually, I slipped away peacefully in Dad's arms, at
19.45.
During my short time amongst you all I was greatly loved by Mum & Dad,
their many relatives & friends.
Dad's finding it hard to write the
words today, but he will update you all in due course....
Thanks for all the love & support you've all given me, Mum & Dad, over
the last 14 weeks.
