Sunday 16th November
After all the excitement yesterday, Dad slept very well, but luckily my personal alarm call woke him & Grandad up just in time to watch the rugby match between England & France. Everyone was very satisfied with the final score, except Louis' dad, especially as he'd already been beaten in our grinning contest too. It was a bit early to celebrate with a Guinness so Grandma rustled up some delicious bacon 'n eggs. I had Cow & Gate, just for a change, augmented with a healthy chew on Grandma's finger.

We had a special visit at lunchtime from Hitu, Hitesh & Aakash. They'd also heard about my recent lapses of memory, but I restored myself to full angelic mode, and they wondered what all the fuss was about. I directed operations from the window so I could have a good chuckle at the boys trying to collect all the leaves from the garden. They managed to work up a good appetite for Hitu's tasty lunch. As a Kiwi, she was a bit disappointed about the rugby, too...so I endeavoured to cheer her up with a good cuddle.

Later in the evening my memory went again, and I had a couple of worrying episodes on the trot. Grandma & Grandad were there too, this time, and they saw how hard it is for all of us. Everyone's hoping like mad that things will improve once this 13th week is over on Tuesday.....Dad said I must stick around for the final next Saturday with Australia. In fact, we've recently had our 1st visitor to the site from down under - G'day to you all !
