November 2nd-3rd
Sunday
Uncle Dave woke me up really early with a
whiskery kiss at 4.30 in the morning! I thought there'd been another plumbing
emergency they wanted advice with, but he was just off to work on Early shift.
Dad had the right idea though: he slept in until midday, but quickly appeared
once I'd helped Margaret and her team in the kitchen produce a tasty roast
lunch. It was delicious, and he wasn't quite so keen to disappear off to the
airport afterwards. Mum had a dip in the pool after lunch - I wanted to swim
too, now I've got all the gear - but I couldn't join her as I had a touch of
tummy trouble....

Monday
I missed Dad last night - he stayed at home after his Late shift - but he did phone lots of times to check up on me. I told him we had plenty of work to do on the website but he said he had lots of important forms to draw pictures on, and money he needed to give to someone called Bill. Anyway we had a great time at Christophers - I checked out the sensory room again and helped with a few more meetings. In the afternoon we heard a big roar and I thought my tiger had got loose...then Dad phoned to tell me that Concorde had just taken off for nearly the last time. I was sad - I think I would've made a good Concorde pilot !
